MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Minnie M. Smith, 80, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001, at Eldercare of Marble Hill. She was born Oct. 12, 1920, at Leopold, Mo., daughter of John D. and Mary Holweg Scharenborg. Smith had been a cook at several local restaurants...MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Minnie M. Smith had been a cook at several local restaurants.

Survivors include a son, Dennis Scharenborg of Marble Hill; a sister, Ann Tarrillion of Perryville, Mo.; a granddaughter; three great-grandchildren; and two great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. The Rev. Lloyd Ray Green will officiate. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 9 a.m. until service time.
