I AM personally very gratified to see all the flags being flown and displayed here in the Cape Girardeau and Jackson area. But what hurts this veteran is to see this American flag being used to sell automobiles.

One-way ticket

I SEE where Jesse Jackson has been invited to negotiate with the Taliban. Now, is this the same Jesse Jackson who was caught using charity contributions to pay off his mistress? I think we should give him a one-way ticket to Afghanistan. Let him negotiate all he wants.

Good people

LATELY, WE have been seeing the name of Grace Wille in the paper for her good, tireless work with the POW-MIA walk. These are the kind of people that we need to know more about. There are a lot of good people in the world, and Mrs. Wille is definitely one of them.
