VANDUSER, Mo. -- Ruby May Burton, 76, of Vanduser died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, at her home.
She was born May 26, 1926, at Crowder, Mo., daughter of Isaac Waymon and Oma Selby Nichols. She and Ira L. "Red" Burton were married April 18, 1946, at New Madrid, Mo. He died Dec. 7, 1992.
Burton was an election judge many years for Scott County Democratic Central Committee. She was a member of Vanduser Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Joe Burton of East Lynne, Mo., Dale Burton of Bell City, Mo.; two daughters, Barbara Anglin of Glasgow, Ky., Shirley Richardson of Bell City; a brother, Walter Nichols of Bell City; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Mo., from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with Hubert Knight of Paragould, Ark., officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
