One star The R rating for this movie is very apropos. The first few minutes show Rebecca Romijn-Stamos working with thieves stealing jewelry in a hotel. The story then goes into strong sexuality and foul language. Antonio Banderas plays a photographer, and that's about all that is remembered of his role. Peter Coyote appears in a small scene in an airplane. These two great actors can't turn this movie into a must-see...

More of a Sundance film, "Femme Fatale" is about betrayal, seduction and love for money. It keeps you paying attention with its scheming ing and setting up innocent people, jumping back and forth before a certain twist of events at the end puts a completely different spin on everything you thought was going on.

It was interesting, but between the areas that are long and drug out and the jumping from one area of time to the next it tends to let you get a little aggravated with the time spent waiting for the point to come across.

I would probably watch it again to see if I did catch everything that the movie consisted of, but maybe just for that -- not for the pure enjoyment of it.

"Femme Fatale" reminds me of those artsy movies you find on cable late at night. Sometimes those movies are good or at least interesting. This movie is neither.

The plot revolves around a con artist who tries to change her life and ways. The story line is so convoluted and hard to follow I was never real sure who the story was actually about. The end of the movie made me think the writer/director Brian DePalma didn't know how to end the story.

I found myself rooting against all the characters in this movie as they exhibited no positive characteristics or values. The happy ending doesn't fit with the uselessness of their lives obvious in the rest of the movie.

The beautiful Rebecca Romijn-Stamos and the talented Antonio Banderas are wasted in this movie. The only thing worth watching is the beautiful Paris scenery where the movie was filmed.
