While David Limbaugh and Rush Limbaugh thrive on publicity generated by criticism from the liberal establishment, there are many in Cape Girardeau who have talent that is seldom recognized. For example, suppose a surgeon has saved a life. Does anyone applaud him? It's just an everyday job. Had the surgeon lost the patient, it is conceivable a lawsuit might ensue, which could cause bad publicity. The surgeon does not thrive on bad publicity...

ST. LOUIS -- Many of the 400-plus pit bulls seized in multistate dogfighting raids appear happy in their new digs at a temporary shelter in St. Louis, where one volunteer described them wagging their tails in seeming gratitude for newfound human contact.
