Cynthia Kramer

Cynthia Diane Kramer, 68, of Jackson, peacefully passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

Cynthia was born Jan. 16, 1956, in Cape Girardeau to Bill Dayton and Mildred Elizabeth Green Smith. She married Kenneth Kramer, and he preceded her in death in 2022.

Cynthia taught piano and ran the office of Kramer Plumbing, Septic and Sewer when she and Kenneth were running the business. She was a member of Mercy Hill Church. Cynthia enjoyed quilting, sewing and gardening vegetables and flowers. She played flute for the St. Louis Orchestra, and playing at the Palace Symphony Hall was the highlight of her life.

Survivors include her mother, Mildred Smith of Jackson; sons, Andy (Elizabeth) Siebert of Jackson and Patrick (Kim) Siebert of Manhattan, Kansas; daughter, Lindsay (Greg) Murray of Carterville, Illinois; stepdaughter, Kendra (Tom) Frentzel of Frohna; stepson, Wade (Ronna) Kramer of Jackson; grandchildren, Clayton Simmons, Collin (Katherine) Simmons, Jacob Simmons, Austin Simmons, Michael Siebert, Grace Byram, Katherine Sebaugh, Claire Sebaugh, Gavin Steffens, Quin Steffens, Troy Frentzel, Parker Kramer, and Payton Kramer; great-grandson, Beau Byram; sister, Jean (Ray) Schweain; brothers, Jim (Sherry) Smith, and Roger (Stacy) Smith; nieces and nephews; and her toy poodle, Zoe.

She was preceded in death by her father and husband.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, at Mercy Hill Church, 3757 Hwy. 25, Jackson.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday July 2, at the church, with Pastor Dan Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of love may be given to the Hope Children’s Home, 709 E. Main St., Jackson, MO 63755. Envelopes will be available at the church.
