NB U.S. 61 in Cape County reduced for guardrail repairs

Northbound U.S. 61 in Cape Girardeau County, at the intersection of Kingshighway and Independence Street in Cape Girardeau, will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform overnight guardrail repairs. According to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release, the work will take place nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, July 19, through Friday, July 26.

Guardrail repairs reduce SB I-55 in Cape County

Southbound Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County — from mile marker 110.6 to mile marker 110.2 near Oak Ridge — will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews repair the guardrail. A Missouri Department of Transportation news release said the work will take place daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, July 22, through Wednesday, July 31.
