Trio of chamber events planned in different cities

Local chambers of commerce will play host to a workshop and two networking events this coming week.

* Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Business Growth Workshop Day from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at its offices at 1846 E. Jackson Blvd. in Jackson. The workshops will delve into business growth, brand experiences and AI use. It is presented by the Small Business Development Center, part of the United States Small Business Administration.

* Perryville Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Business After Hours networking event from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at HSB Advisors, 27 N. Main St. in Perryville.

* Capping off the week, the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly First Friday Coffee networking event from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2. This will take place at the Century Casino Cape Girardeau Event Center, 777 N. Main St., and will feature a presentation by Cori Day, the executive director of Missouri Travel Alliance.
