Franklin Myers

Franklin “Frank” Myers passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024, at the age of 81 at his home.

He was born Jan. 2, 1943, to Emzie and Elnora Myers. Both preceded him in death. Frank married Paula Job Myers on Sept. 3, 1993. She preceded him in death.

He worked for Nip Kelley Construction and retired after 50 years of service.

Frank was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Jackson. His love of dogs led him to start Creekwood Golden Retrievers. Creekwood Goldens can be found nationwide and internationally. One can only imagine the welcome he received from the hundreds of Goldens from Creekwood.

Although not a member of any particular church, Frank loved the promises he learned from God’s word and often shared them with others.

He is survived by his daughter, Tracey Myers (Javier) Garza; grandson, Jett Garza of Aurora, Illinois; brother, Kenneth Myers; nephew, Clifford Myers of St. Louis; two sisters-in-law, Lisa Job Rouse of Jackson and Mari Job of Oskaloosa, Iowa.

Frank’s extended family includes Jeff Gurley of Osage Beach, Tina (Gary) Meyr of Kimberling City, Cody Rouse and Clay (Erica) Rouse of Jackson, Chelsea Gurley of Cape Girardeau and Lexi (Charlie) Ledbetter of Cape Girardeau.

As per Frank’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
