Women in Business conference highlights busy week of chamber events

A trio of regional chambers of commerce will hold some kind of event during the week.

Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce is in fact hosting two of them.

Its Business After Hours event is planned from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at Premier Physical Therapy, 1405 N. Mount Auburn Road in Cape Girardeau. This event is free to attend but must be registered for on the chamber website, https://www.capechamber.com.

The Cape Girardeau chamber’s other event is the second annual Women in Business: At the Heart of It All celebration from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20. This conference will be held at the Drury Plaza Hotel Conference Center at 3351 Percy Drive in Cape Girardeau. Those are not the only events scheduled for those two days.

Scott City Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly Morning Chamber Coffee from 7:15 to 7:50 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at The Front Porch, 1408 Main St. in Scott City.
