Happy Mother's Day

Being a Mother at times is a selfless job. Mother's Day is a special day when we honor our Mothers and thank them for their patience, love, and commitment. It is easy to get lost in our busy lives and forget all that a Mother does for her children, but it is necessary to take the time to remember all that Mothers do. I hope you will share with me this message for all mothers:

Someone said the hardest part of being a Mother is labor and delivery...somebody never watched her "baby" get on the bus for the first day of kindergarten...or on a plane headed for military boot camp.

Somebody said a Mother can stop worrying after her child gets married...somebody doesn't know that marriage adds a new son or daughter-in-law to a Mother's heartstrings.

Somebody said a Mother's job is done when her last child leaves home...somebody never had grandchildren.

Somebody said your Mother knows you love her, so you don't need to tell her...somebody isn't a Mother.

No one can ever know what it means to be a Mother until they become one and no one will ever know what it feels like to lose a mother until you have lost one.

A wise person once said there is a time in your life when you will realize who matters, who never did, and who always will.

Mother's Day isn't just for mothers. It's a wonderful day to celebrate all the amazing women in our life -- friends, daughters, aunts, grandmothers, and mothers. On this Mother's Day, I would like to extend my thanks to all mothers; you are the true leaders of our community. And Mom, Happy Mother's Day from Son #1! I Love You!
