Erbert & Gerbert's coming to Cape
Erbert & Gerbert's Sandwich Shop announced today in a news release that it will be opening eight to ten locations in Missouri, including one in Cape Girardeau in the next three years.
The sandwich shop began in Wisconsin and has over 60 locations in the United States, with most of them in Wisconsin's surrounding states. The chain plans to open locations in St. Joseph, Joplin, Springfield, Columbia, St. Louis, St. Charles, Cape Girardeau, O'Fallon and St. Peters within the next three to five years, the release said.
"After celebrating a huge milestone this year-- our 25th anniversary -- and our success throughout the country, we are very excited about coming to Cape Girardeau to serve local residents," said Jeff Thames, director of franchise sales for Erbert & Gerbert's, in the release. "We look forward to introducing locals to Flavornation -- which stands for quality and being different. It's about sandwiches you can't find in a normal sub shop -- it's part of our culture."
