United Way launches blog

The United Way of Southeast Missouri recently announced the addition of a blog to its website as part of an initiative to increase the organization's online presence.

The Live United blog "allows us to share information about the complex issues families face and allows us to tell personal stories of how the United Way of Southeast Missouri is making a difference in our communities," said executive director of the United Way of Southeast Missouri Nancy Jernigan in a news release.

Along with the blog, the organization's updated website allows visitors to view upcoming news and events, find out how to get involved with the organization and sign up for newsletters, according to the release.

The United Way of Southeast Missouri also uses digital media such as Facebook and Twitter.
