CVS Pharmacy to open in January

A few people approached me about whether CVS Pharmacy, being constructed at the intersection of William Street and South Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau, would be opening sooner than its estimated January opening date.

The pharmacy's signage is posted and hung, the parking lot is near finished, complete with landscaping, and the inside of the building seems to only be missing products and people.

Mike DeAngelis, director of public relations for CVS, said the pharmacy still is slated to open in January.

The beginning of a new year may seem far off in the future, but as we dive into the holiday months, Cape Girardeau is looking at only about two months before the pharmacy opens its doors.
