Rhodes shut down Friday for 'Gone Girl'
Posted Sunday, September 22, 2013, at 9:51 AM
Several people in our newsroom heard Friday that Rhodes 101, 546 S. Sprigg St. in Cape Girardeau, was going to shut down that night for "Gone Girl" filming. Sure enough, it happened, and photographer Adam Vogler caught images of what looks to be director David Fincher and actress Rosamund Pike filming a scene. Since they were filming, Adam couldn't ask them to verify their identities, but the eyeball test and browsing lots of images on Google verifies to 99 percent certainty that we are indeed seeing stars in these photographs.
