'Sharp Objects' bound for small screen

"Gone Girl" author Gillian Flynn made the news again recently, this time for her debut novel, "Sharp Objects."
According to time.com, "Sharp Objects" is headed for the small screen as a serialized drama thanks to Entertainment One Television. The 2006 novel focuses on a journalist sent back to her hometown in Missouri to report on two murders. Marti Noxon ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") has agreed to write the script
And just a reminder from time.com: If you need something to hold you over until "Gone Girl" opens in October, Flynn's 2009 novel "Dark Places" is set to be released Sept. 1.
