Hospital to open operations facility at Lorimont Place

Landmark Hospital will locate a new operations facility at Lorimont Place Ltd., 240 S. Mount Auburn Road in Cape Girardeau. The new office will be 5,415 square feet and on the north end of the 90,500-square-foot corporate development between Doctor's Park and West Park Mall, said Tom Kelsey, commercial broker with Lorimont Place.

Landmark Holdings currently operates three hospitals in Missouri -- in Cape Girardeau, Columbia and Joplin -- and one in Athens, Ga.

The new operations center will provide support services for Landmark Hospitals including billing, purchasing, information services and other administration functions.

Dr. William Kapp is the founder and president of Landmark and also serves as managing partner for Orthopedic Associates of Southeast Missouri in Cape Girardeau.

The new operations center is expected to open at Lorimont Place in July, Kelsey said.
