Dava Hoffman will see patients at Mercy Primary Care, 817 Mount Auburn Road in Cape Girardeau. Aaron Koehler will join the team at Mercy Convenient Care-Jackson, 2432 E. Main St. Both physician assistants are Southeast Missouri State University alumni.

Hoffman has close to five years of experience as a physician assistant in both urgent care and orthopedics. She previously cared for emergency department and surgery patients.

“I'm looking forward to providing the community with quality and comprehensive medical care, improving access to care as well as providing patients with the resources and education they need to live a healthier lifestyle,” Hoffman said in a news release.

Koehler, a lifelong Cape Girardeau County resident, started his career at the facility now known as Mercy Hospital Stoddard.

“I love working in acute care and seeing a wide variety of patients every day,” Koehler said in a news release. “The staff at the ER and in the clinic have been top-notch and very easy to work with, and I truly love working with them.”
