The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Wednesday: n Medical assists were made at 3:47 a.m. on Middle Street; 4:40 a.m. on Whitener Street; 5:28 a.m. on Sprigg Street; 7:19 a.m. on Sprigg Street; 12:21 p.m. on South Silver Springs Road; 12:41 p.m. on South Ellis Street; 1:47 p.m. on Whitener Street; 7:02 p.m. on South Sprigg Street; and 8:56 p.m. on Bloomfield Road...

- Medical assists were made at 3:47 a.m. on Middle Street; 4:40 a.m. on Whitener Street; 5:28 a.m. on Sprigg Street; 7:19 a.m. on Sprigg Street; 12:21 p.m. on South Silver Springs Road; 12:41 p.m. on South Ellis Street; 1:47 p.m. on Whitener Street; 7:02 p.m. on South Sprigg Street; and 8:56 p.m. on Bloomfield Road.
- At 8:36 a.m., a motor-vehicle accident with injuries on County Road 638.
- At 10:36 p.m., a call was dispatched and canceled en route to Towers Circle.
