Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:

• Medical assists at 7:11 a.m. on Albert Street; at 8:36 a.m. on Blattner Street; at 12:56 p.m. on Siemers Street; on 1:07 p.m. on South Louisiana Street; and at 9:19 p.m. on Linden Street.
• At 7:13 p.m., motor vehicle accident with injuries on Nash Street.
• At 2:46 p.m., a chemical hazard, no spill or leak, on Armstrong Street.
• At 4:21, 4:22 and 4:23 p.m., alarm system activations on Siemers Drive.
• At 4:23 p.m., two false alarms on Siemers Drive.
• At 5:20 p.m., brush fire on Sherwood Drive.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Friday:

• Medical assist calls at 2:21 a.m. on South West End Boulevard; 6:42 a.m. on Mimosa Street; at 11:03 a.m. on South Benton Street; at 1:15 p.m. on Patricia Street; at 2:32 p.m. on Independence Street; at 7:20 p.m. on North Main Street; and at 10:05 p.m. on Ranchito Drive.
• At 8:53 a.m., a smoking barbecue or tar kettle on South Sprigg Street.
• At 12:57 p.m., dispatched and canceled en route to Bellevue Street.
• At 3:52 p.m., motor vehicle accident with injuries on William Street.
• Calls were made at 10:11 p.m. on Nash Street and at 11:30 p.m. on North Fountain Street.
