The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls on Wednesday:
- Medical assists at 6:47 a.m. on Boxwood Road; at 1:10 p.m. on South Ellis Street; at 4:08 p.m. on North Fountain Street; at 7:07 p.m. on North Main Street; at 7:24 p.m. on South Hanover Street; and at 11:15 p.m. on South Sprigg Street.
- At 8:41 a.m., dispatched and canceled en route to Aspen Drive.
- At 3:26 p.m., authorized controlled burning on Sara Street.
- At 6:45 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Notre Dame Drive.
- At 11:19 p.m., a call on Nash Road.
