The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Sunday:

• At 12:31 a.m., a smoke scare or odor of smoke on Broadway.
• At 5:33 a.m., a smoke-detector activation on William Street.
• Medical assists were made at 6:31 a.m. on Independence Street; 7:47 a.m. on North Henderson Avenue; 10:31 a.m. on Ricardo Drive; 5 p.m. on Broadway; and 7:56 p.m. on North Frederick Street.
• At 9:25 a.m., a call on North Frederick Street.
• At 1:39 p.m., an alarm system activation, no fire, on Gordonville Road.
• At 7:08 p.m., no incident found on arrival at South Ellis Street.
