CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Kenneth W. Murphy, 51, 3018 Patriot Drive, was arrested at North Kingshighway and Lexington Avenue on a Cape Girardeau warrant for improper registration.
• Michelle D. Medlock, 34, 500 Louis St., was arrested at 500 Louis St. on a Cape Girardeau warrant for expired plates and no insurance.
• Christopher W. Smith, 26, 131 S. Louisiana St., was arrested at William Street and Sheridan Drive on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
• Michael B. Hilderbrand, 25, 135 S. Benton St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for stealing.
• Alixes M. Dugger, 24, homeless, was arrested on a warrant at North and Fountain streets.
• Terry J. Roberts, 39, 505 Washington St., No. 1, was arrested at 401 Independence St. on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for larceny.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of failure to drive on the right half of the road, driving while intoxicated and no license-plate light at Broadway and North Henderson Avenue.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault and resisting arrest.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of failure to register a motor vehicle and driving while revoked.

Summonses

• Lamont A. Whitney, 20, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for trespassing at Frederick Street Manor, 430 N. Frederick St.
• Sherry Wilkens, 55, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for property damage at 1248 Linden St.
• Tonya L. Curry, no age given, of Sikeston, Missouri, was issued a summons for leaving the scene of an accident at 425 S. Mount Auburn Road.
• Joel E. Garner, 17, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2800 Bloomfield Road.

Assault

• Assault was reported at 15 N. Main St.

Thefts

• Theft was reported at Saint Francis Medical Center, 211 Saint Francis Drive.
• A Garmin GPS was reported stolen at 1745 Bessie St.
• Theft was reported at U-Haul, 740 S. Kingshighway.
• Wheels and tires were reported stolen at 1101 N. Spanish St.
• A jacket was reported stolen at 710 N. Sprigg St.

Miscellaneous

• A 21-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
• Resisting arrest, careless and imprudent driving, failure to use mechanical or hand signals, failure to yield, failure to stop at a stop sign and driving while revoked were reported.
