The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

• Abdulrahman F. Alshammari, no age give, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated and following too closely.

Arrests

• Stephen D. Sheldrake II, 33, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.
• Dustin T. Smith, 28, 2800 Pioneer St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for improper registration and revoked operator's license.
• Jeffery S. Gantt, 31, 1217 Dunklin St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for improper registration.
• Stephen C. McDaniel, 30, no address given, was arrested on a Bollinger County, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear in court for driving while revoked.
• Robert W. Shaw, 33, 652 S. Spring Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.
• Jason M. Jungers, 31, of Scott City was arrested on Cape Girardeau County warrants for failure to appear for tampering with a motor vehicle and failure to appear for burglary.
• A 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old were taken into custody on suspicion of assault.
• A 16-year-old boy was taken into custody on suspicion of marijuana possession.

Summonses

• Alexus E. Burgi, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for striking a legally stopped vehicle.
• Roger L. Criddle, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to stop for a steady red light.
• Brittney D. Patrick, 26, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to maintain private property free of litter.
• Bradley L. Brown, no age given, of Scott City was issued summonses for violation of steady red light and failure to have insurance.
• Maaz A. Kamal, 23, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

Assaults

• Domestic assault was reported,

Thefts

• A purse was reported stolen at 1400 West End Blvd.
• A wallet and its contents were reported stolen at 2826 Hemlock St.
• Identity theft was reported at 2506 Allendale Drive.

Burglary

• Burglary and damage to a steel door were reported at 3363 Gordonville Road.

Miscellaneous

• A 24-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• Fraudulent use of a credit/debit device was reported at 1400 West End Blvd.
