The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • William G. McCrary, 19, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on right half of roadway, and no headlights.

Arrests

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.
  • A juvenile was arrested on a juvenile warrant.
  • Cecile E. Thompson, 22, of De Soto, Missouri, was arrested on a Jefferson County warrant for failure to appear.
  • Kristopher L. Blair, 27, 3007 Themis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing, and was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to distribute.

  • Joe L. Cobret, 28, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for peace disturbance.

  • Christopher M. Snider, 36, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to maintain private property free of litter.
  • Roger W. Littleton, 50, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for an animal not on a leash.
  • Kayla McCabe, no age given, of Advance, Missouri, was issued a summons for striking a lawfully stopped vehicle.
  • Nathan G. Anheuser, no age given, of Pinckneyville, Illinois, was issued a summons for failure to yield.

Thefts

  • Stealing and forgery were reported.
  • A check, camera and camera equipment were reported stolen at 622 LaPetite Court.

Property damage

  • A window was reported destroyed at 787 Redwood Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • A 39-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • An animal bite was reported at 211 Saint Francis Drive.
