CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

• James O. Stewart Jr., 53, of Jackson was issued summonses for driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain a single lane.

Arrests

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while suspended, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, driving while intoxicated and exceeding posted speed limit.
• Brandi S. Adams, 27, of Naylor, Missouri, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation of stealing.
• Hannah R. Mauk, 21, 3006 Wisteria Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
• Suspects were in custody pending formal charges of possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
• Suspects were in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and failure to register a motor vehicle.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of marijuana and failure to signal.

Summonses

• Georgia E. Cowson, 28, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for animal leash law violation and no animal city license.
• Elsa M. Christisen, 54, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for assault.
• Randy E. Dailey, 33, of Tamms, Illinois, was issued a summons for shoplifting.
• Mariah Ronea Ferguson, 23, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for prohibited acts (noise).
• Amanda L. Shores, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for following too close.
• Blake O. Kirkpatrick, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for striking a stopped vehicle.

Assault

• Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

• An ATV and trailer were reported stolen at 2026 Old Sprigg Street Road.
• A handbag and contents were reported stolen at 2145 Independence St.
• A purse and contents were reported stolen at 1120 N. Kingshighway.
• Cash was reported stolen from a motor vehicle at 1733 Pemiscot St..

Miscellaneous

• A suspicious fire was reported at 1022 Jefferson Ave.
• Rape was reported.
