CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Austin E. Bush, 26, 1964 Big Bend Road, was arrested at 216 N. Missouri Ave. on Cape Girardeau warrants for false declaration and driving while suspended.
• Erika D. Cavasos, 21, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.
• Samantha L. Degarcia, 27, of Bertrand, Missouri, was arrested at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., on a Cape Girardeau warrant for stealing.
• Jessica L.A. Cox, 32, of Whitewater was arrested at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., on a Cape Girardeau warrant for stealing.
• James A. Stewart, 36, unknown address, was arrested at 1112 Linden St. on a Scott County warrant for probation violation.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
• Lola Ann Cox, no age given, of Whitewater was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for stealing.

Summonses

• Orlando M. Perkins Jr., 24, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for assault.
• Kevin B. Johnson, 52, of Burfordville, Missouri, was issued a summons for stealing at 2911 Kage Road.
• Kori Allen Grove, 20, of Jonesboro, Illinois, was issued summonses at 353 S. Kingshighway for being a minor in possession of alcohol and unlawful use of a license.
• Domonique Johnson, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for driving without a license and a red-light violation at Route K and Mount Auburn Road.
• Chelsea M. Kaufmann, 25, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for stealing at Nearly Perfect Shoes, 209 S. Kingshighway.

Assaults

• Second-degree assault was reported at 1444 Independence St.
• Assault was reported at 410 Kiwanis Drive.
• Assault was reported at 410 Kiwanis Drive.

Burglaries

• Burglary and theft were reported at 1006 Jefferson Ave.
• Burglary and theft were reported at 2817 Themis St.
• Burglary was reported at 1005 Linden St.

Thefts

• Stealing from a motor vehicle was reported at 339 Broadway.
• Theft of a car stereo and tools and property damage were reported at 1439 Whitener St.
• Theft was reported at 811 Hickory St.
• Theft was reported at 2850 Whitener St.
• Stealing from a motor vehicle was reported at 9 N. Benton St.

Property damage

• A vehicle was damaged on the parking lot at Lowes, 3440 Lowes Drive.
• Property damage and unlawful use of a weapon were reported at Pacific Street and Jefferson Avenue.

Miscellaneous

• A runaway juvenile was reported at Washington Avenue and Fountain Street.
• A suspect was identified and lab results were pending on suspicion on possession of a controlled substance at 1701 Lacey St.
• A suspect was taken into protective custody at U.S. 61 and Boulder Crest Drive.
• Forgery was reported at 2817 Themis St.
• Child abuse was reported.
