The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests Barrett C. Swan, 19, of 5956 Kingsbury Ave., St. Louis, was arrested Wednesday on Cape Girardeau warrants for speeding, failure to stop, failure to use signal, careless and imprudent driving, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, obstructing traffic, driving while revoked and no seat belt.

Shemiah L. Carter, 21, of 412 North St., Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for parole violation.

Cynthia D. McClinton, 29, of 514 S. Middle, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.

Michael P. Park, 20, of 520 S. Middle, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of receiving stolen property.

Thomas L. Jones, 29, of 1100 N. Spanish, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Thursday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

Thefts Cigarettes were reported stolen Wednesday by the Smoker's Outlet Inc. at 2116 William.

A CD player, CDs and a case were reported stolen Wednesday at 3500 Spartech Drive.

Gasoline was reported stolen Thursday by Winks at 2021 Perryville.

Burglary A burglary was reported Wednesday at 2823 Themis. A television, DVD player, VCR and stereo were reported stolen.

Property Damage

A window and wall were reported damaged Wednesday at 1837 New Madrid.Jackson
