The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs Elton R. Provo, 36, of 608 Locust, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked, possession of a controlled substance and operating an unlicensed vehicle.

Dustin E. Wareing, 22, of 405 Rose Garden Lane, Apt. A, Bentonville, Ark., was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and operating an unlicensed vehicle.

Arrests Corey Martin, 24, of 110 S. Hanover, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of assault and armed criminal action.

David P. Thompson, 27, of 619 S. Park, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of burglary and stealing.

Marcus D. Turks, 23, of 447 N. Main, Apt. A, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

John P. Bowers, 22, of Route 3, Box 3990 Highway 51, Marble Hill, Mo., was arrested Tuesday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

Richard E. Fulton, 19, of 9211 Cherry Brook Lane, Crestwood, Mo., was arrested Tuesday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

Thomas E. Johnson, 34, no current address, was arrested Tuesday on a Franklin County, Mo., warrant for probation violation.

Alonzo V. Cole, 35, of 510 N. Fountain, Apt. 4, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of stealing, child abuse, property damage and improper registration of a vehicle.

Trevor J. Todt, 18, of 1890 Route PP, Jackson, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of driving while suspended.

Benjamin F. Rawlins, 18, of 1003 Locust, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of resisting arrest.

Summons Jerry W. Sturgeion, 47, of 400 Elm St., Scott City, Mo., received a summons Tuesday on suspicion of stealing.

Thefts An extension ladder was reported stolen Tuesday at 226 N. Ellis.

Cash was reported stolen and a vending machine damaged Tuesday at 68 Plaza Way.

Stealing was reported Tuesday by Schnucks at 19 S. Kingshighway.

A CD player was reported stolen Tuesday at 3049 William.

Plants were reported stolen Wednesday by Ace Hardware at 1719 N. Kingshighway.

Property damage was reported Wednesday at the 600 block of Themis.Jackson
