The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests Brian L. Cayce, 35, of 1919 Old Sprigg Road, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of trafficking crack cocaine, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of stolen property.

Johnny Pollard, 30, of 1601 North Clark, was arrested Monday on a state warrant for probation violation.

Desmond A. Irvin, 18, of 622 Jefferson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for assault.

Jackee M. Nicholson, 33, of 918 College, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

A subject was placed in custody pending the filing of formal charges for walking in the street when a sidewalk is available.

Scott M. Goodwin, 21, of 1616 Scott Street, was arrested Monday on a St. Charles, Mo., warrant for driving while intoxicated.

A 27-year-old male was placed in protective custody Tuesday.

Summons

Janice E. Beardslee of 2437 County Highway 401, Benton, Mo., received a summons Monday for failure to yield.

Ernestine I. Orlando, of 327 N. Frederick, Apt. 204, received a summons Monday for a traffic signal violation.

Assaults

Assault of a law enforcement officer was reported Monday.

Thefts

Pallets were reported stolen Monday by Shaeffer Water Center at 2021 Themis.

Clothing, video games, and CDs were reported stolen Monday at 622 Jefferson.

A pond pump and clear tubing was reported stolen Monday by Sunny Hill Gardens at 206 N. Kingshighway.

Food and liquor was reported stolen Monday by Buffalo Wild Wings Bar and Grill at 2136 William.

A CD player, checkbook, CD case and CDs were reported stolen Monday at 413 N. Frederick. Two subjects were placed in custody pending the filing of formal charges for stealing and tampering with a motor vehicle.Burglary

A burglary was reported Monday by the city of Cape Girardeau girls softball league at Arena Park. Tools were taken. Two subjects were placed in custody pending the filing of formal charges for attempted burglary and possession of burglary tools.

Property Damage

Canvas awnings were reported damaged Monday by Greater Missouri Builders at 2110 Town Plaza Shopping Center.

A door was reported damaged Monday at 611 Broadway.

A vehicle was reported damaged Monday at 2833 Themis.

A laundry machine was reported damaged Tuesday by Rendrag Properties at 2824 Themis.

A vehicle window was reported damaged Tuesday at 740 Broadway.

Miscellaneous

A Murray lawn mower was found Monday at South Spanish and Independence.

Two instances of fraudulent attempt to obtain a controlled substance were reported Monday by the Medicine Shoppe at 864 N. Kingshighway.

A female juvenile was cited for truancy Tuesday in juvenile court.

Seven instances of fraudulent stopping payment of a check were reported Tuesday. Businesses making reports included Wal-Mart, Sunny Hill, Knaup Floral, Bi State Southern, and Trees and Trends.

A blue 1984 Jeep was reported abandoned Tuesday at 241 O'Connell.
