The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items.

Assaults

• Domestic assault was reported.
• Domestic assault and stealing were reported.
• Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

• The theft of store merchandise was reported at 315 Shirley Drive. A suspect was taken into custody.
• Shoplifting was reported at Walmart, 3439 William St. A suspect was taken into custody.
• Theft of a trailer was reported.
• Burglary was reported in the 300 block of North Spring Avenue.
• Stealing, assault and property damage were reported in the 100 block of South Ellis Street. A suspect was taken into custody.

Miscellaneous

• Possession of a controlled substance was reported. A suspect was taken into custody.
• Forgery was reported.
• Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia were reported in the 500 block of South Pacific Street. A suspect was taken into custody.
• Vehicles in park were reported at East Cape Rock Drive and Old Route V.
• Possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia were reported at South Sprigg and Merriwether streets. A suspect was taken into custody.
• Property damage was reported in the 2700 block of Flora Hills Drive.
• Damaged glass was reported in the 1000 block of North Kingshighway.
• Damaged door was reported in the 600 block of North Sprigg Street.
