Elizabeth Benson of Jackson received minor injuries in a one-car accident Sunday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The accident occurred on Rt. Y, two miles east of Jackson. Benson lost control of her vehicle and ran off the right side of the roadway, overturning several times, according to accident reports. She was issued a summons for careless and imprudent driving and taken to St. Francis Medical Center.
