Firefighters responded to the following calls Friday:

• At 5:39 p.m., the smell of gas at 804 N. Cape Rock Drive.
• At 6:20 p.m., a Dumpster fire at 622 S. Kingshighway.
• At 7:48 p.m., investigation of a smoke detector in the 1400 block of Delwin Street.
• At 9:23 p.m., motor vehicle accident with injuries in the 600 block of North Sprigg Street.
• At 9:58 p.m., an alarm sounding in the 2500 block of Wild Horse Trail.
• At 10:02 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1400 block of North Spanish Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Saturday:

• At 1:22 a.m., a citizen assist in the 500 block of South Sprigg Street.
• At 5:46 a.m., an extrication beyond city limits.
• At 5:37 a.m., emergency medical service in the 2500 block of Greenway Drive.
• At 12:01 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1500 block of Good Hope Street.

• A chimney flue fire on Highland Drive.
• A false call at East Jackson Boulevard at Center Junction.
