The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

* Dennis E. Ray, 39, 416 East Lane, No. 3, was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, driving while revoked and failure to maintain insurance.

Summonses

* Joseph E. Benevente, 22, 606 Old Cape Road, was issued a summons for driving while revoked.

* Carolyn J. Gibbs, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for backing into an angled parking space.

Theft

* Theft was reported in the area of Cambridge Road.

Miscellaneous

* An assist was requested in the 1000 block of Pawnee Avenue.

* An assist was requested in the 300 block of North High Street.

* Check the welfare was requested in the area of White Oak and Morton streets.

* Keep the peace was requested in the 100 block of West Main Street.

* An assist was requested in the 900 block of Jessica Street.
