The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Terrance T.E. Smith, 22, 321 Middle St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for resisting arrest.
  • Danny C. White, 38, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for possession of child pornography and probation violation for receiving stolen property.
  • Curtis Avance, 21, 2830 Whitener St., Apt. 8, was arrested on a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for contempt of court.
  • Patrick W. Webb, 18, no address given, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.
  • Tanisha M. Richie, 23, 412 North St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.
  • A 15-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Summonses

  • Brandi N. Sexton, 24, 1055 Patricia St., was issued a summons for leash-law violation.
  • Peggy R. Pletcher, 55, 2820 Vista Lane, was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of trash.

Assault

  • An assault was reported.

Thefts

  • Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft of clothing. Two juveniles were cited in connection with the incident.
  • A purse was reported stolen at 121 S. Sprigg St.
  • A theft of mail was reported.
  • Best Buy, 3026 William St., reported a theft of an iPod and a CD. A subject is in custody pending charges in connection with the incident.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported at 1057 Patricia St.

Property damage

  • A vehicle window was reported broken at 901 S. Sprigg St.
  • A window broken was reported at 1030 Broadway.
  • Peace disturbance and property damage were reported at 117 N. Main St. David E. Spiker Jr., 21, 25 S. Hanover St., and Dustin J. Wondrick, 20, 501 Louis St., were issued summonses in connection with the incident.

Miscellaneous

  • A 30-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • Interference with custody was reported.
  • Trespassing was reported.
  • A request for service was reported.

DWI

  • Kevin D. Dudley, 30, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
  • Stacey A. Lincoln, 36, of Millersville was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
  • Brandon C. Young, 18, of Sedgewickville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended and being a minor visibly intoxicated.

Arrests

  • Christopher M. Burton, 30, of Allenville was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked.
  • David Charles Job Mayes, 22, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of endangering child welfare, resisting arrest and domestic assault.
  • Toby L. Horman, 32, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of endangering the welfare of a child and supplying liquor to a minor.
  • Caleb E. Smith, 20, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for stealing and burglary.
