Arrests

  • Sandy J. Strong, 52, 105 N. Clark St., Apt. 204, was arrested on suspicion of forgery.
  • Yolanda M. Bass, 22, of Marble Hill, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • Allen K. Gamblin, 25, of Portageville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture.
  • Ross E. Baker, 21, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture.
  • A 16-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court for running away.
  • Christopher J. Birdwell, 24, of Portageville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of attempt to manufacture methamphetamine.
  • Justin D. Moore, 27, 121 E. Rodney St., Unit C3, was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked and failure to register motor vehicle annually.
  • Angela N. Wilkinson, 25, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fines for failure to display license upon request and improper registration and a Butler County warrant for bad checks.
  • Landry Westrich, 20, of Caseyville, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for passing bad checks.
  • Joe D. Davis, 23, of Thebes, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
  • Steven T. Hoehn, 25, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on a probation violation warrant for driving while intoxicated.

Assault

  • A domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

  • An Xbox and games were reported stolen at 200 Mason St.
  • Medication was reported stolen at 44 N. Pindwood Lane.

Burglary

  • Mid-America Outdoors, 1009 N. Kingshighway, reported a burglary. A chain saw was reported stolen.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Jo A. Furr, 42, 806 Brown St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and cited for a seat-belt violation and failure to drive on the right side of the road.

Summonses

  • Hailey Ward, 18, 3144 Spring Lake Trail, received a summons for failure to stop at a posted stop sign.
  • Darren J. Henderson, 23, 61 Centennial Drive, Cape Girardeau, received a summons for speeding.
  • Christopher M. Conrad, 24, 1114 Patricia St., Cape Girardeau, receive a summons for illegally parking a motor vehicle.

Thefts

  • A theft of toolbox and tackle box was reported in the 900 block of Independence Street.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 200 block of Henderson Street.
