Arrests; Thefts; Burglary

Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Cordera A. Myers, 17, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • A 15-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court for curfew violations, driving without a valid license and driving with no headlights at night.
  • Lorenzo Tate, 18, of 409 S. Benton St., was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and costs for exhibition driving, failure to pay fine and costs for no operator's license and failure to pay fine and costs for obedience to a police officer.
  • Michael A. Dilley, 31, of 339 S. Lorimier, Apt. B, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay for failure to display license upon request and improper registration.

Thefts

  • A PlayStation, remote controls and DVDs were reported stolen at 1501 Whitener St.
  • Rhodes 101, 546 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • J.C. Penney, 200 West Park Mall, reported a theft of jewelry.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported at 810 College St.

Miscellaneous

  • A 44-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • A violation of an order of protection was reported.
  • A peace disturbance was reported.
