The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Charles M. Garmon Jr., 29, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon.
• Kenneth L. Carter, 48, address unknown, was arrested on suspicion of burglary in the 1400 block of William Street.
• James H. Ivie, 61, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of assault.

Assaults

• Assault was reported in the 2800 block of Themis Street.
• Assault was reported in the 100 block of Clark Avenue.
• Assault was reported in the 900 block of South Ellis Street.

Summonses

• Paul R. York, 52, address unknown, was issued a summons for trespassing in the 3400 block of William Street.
• Kaleb Lester Goza, 21, was issued a summons for a fireworks violation.
• Cody W. McAlister, 28, of McClure, Illinois, was issued a summons for an affray.

Thefts

• Theft was reported in the 100 block of South Sprigg Street. Juveniles were taken into custody.
• Theft was reported in the 500 block of Koch Avenue.
• Burglary was reported in the 1800 block of Cape LaCroix Road.
• Burglary was reported in the 300 block of South West End Boulevard.
• Stealing was reported in the 100 block of South Henderson Avenue.

Miscellaneous

• Property damage was reported in the 600 block of Terry Lane.
• Drug violation was reported at Lawanda Drive and Perryville Road. Suspect was in custody.
• Property damage was reported in the 2500 block of Independence Street.
• Animal bite was reported in the 300 block of Campster Drive.
• Drug violation was reported in the 1600 block of Westwood Drive.
• Fraud was reported in the 300 block of South Sprigg Street.
