Ticket sales end soon for annual awards banquet

Wednesday is the deadline for purchasing tickets to the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce annual awards banquet. Tickets cost $35 per person and a business may purchase a full table of eight seats for $280. The awards to be presented include the Small Business of the Year, the Rush H. Limbaugh award for community service and the Go-Getter of the Year award for someone who has successfully promoted chamber membership during the past year. The social hour begins at 6 p.m., with dinner served at 7.

Ribbon cutting planned for Jackson business

The Jackson Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting for the new location of Brown & Thomas CPAs P.C. at 9 a.m. Wednesday at 310 E. Main St.
