The center, owned by Mary Crafton, is licensed for 20 students, ages 2 to 8.

Crafton, who has more than five years experience in day-care work, has completed an early childhood learning course at Southeast Missouri State University.

The school, which has one full-time and two part-time instructors, will be open seven days a week, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
