Wicker's, a new restaurant named for a noted Southeast Missouri barbecue sauce manufactured in the Bootheel, has opened at Caruthersville.

The new restaurant, which has indoor seating for 54 and outdoor deck seating for 50, is at 100 Riverside Drive near the river wall overlooking the Mississippi River.

Wicker's, owned by Hecker, Wenell and More Inc., will featured barbecued items --ribs, pork sandwiches, beef brisket, breast of chicken and shrimp -- along with steak and catfish.

The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
