Being a team player is an important part of Nicholle Hinkle's job title as the project manager at Old Town Cape, a not-for-profit organization that promotes the revitalization of downtown Cape Girardeau.

She works with a variety of people, from Old Town Cape's partners and sponsors to downtown business owners -- a part she loves about her job, but that also requires flexibility.

"Not everybody works the same, and so you have to be able to adapt the way you work to fit theirs in order to keep succeeding," Hinkle says.

Being able to produce noticeable results is what keeps her going.

"I am someone that thrives on success," she says.

Every day in the office is different. Some days Hinkle is designing, and other days she is writing.

One of Hinkle's proudest accomplishments is Old Town Cape's blog, which was launched last year. The blog, posted twice a week, incorporates many aspects of downtown and shares that information with others, she says.

Hinkle also manages the organization's website and social media.

"I love that I get to utilize so many different things that I learned in college in my job," she says.
