Cape residents join life insurance group

David Hahs and T. Ronald Hahs of Cape Girardeau achieved qualifying membership in the Million Dollar Roundtable, an international and independent association of about 19,000 life insurance producers. The Million Dollar Roundtable is a career milestone measured by sales and service achievements and ethical standards. Both men are financial representatives with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.

Cox receives real estate designation

James Cox with Realty Executives of Cape County has earned the title of seller representative specialist. The professional real estate designation is conferred by the Seller Representative Specialist Council. The council educates real estate agents on how to represent consumers who are looking for a benchmark of the highest level of service and professionalism when selecting a listing agent to market their home.

Salon announces two additions to spa team

Elements Salon and Spa, 2031 Cape LaCroix Road in Cape Girardeau, has added Alexia Whitten and Elisha Bader to its spa team. Whitten is a board-certified permanent cosmetic professional. Bader is a licensed esthetician and graduate of the Skin Institute in St Louis, with a specialized certificate in body waxing and microdermabrasion.

Humane Society hires development specialist

Beth Boehm has been hired as development specialist at the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri, 2536 Boutin Drive in Cape Girardeau. A resident of Cape Girardeau for seven years, Boehm also has experience in the mental health field, where she worked as an art therapist and chemical dependency counselor.

Skinner graduates from leadership program

Warren Skinner, assistant director of Career Linkages at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, is one of three Missouri representatives to graduate from the Delta Regional Authority Leadership Program in Little Rock, Ark. The Delta Leadership Institute, which is operated by the Delta Regional Authority, is designed to create a corps of leaders with a regional and national perspective. The Institute provides a yearlong leadership development program for regional leaders desiring to prepare themselves to face the challenges of the 21st century.

Modern Woodmen recognizes Ledbetter

Ron Ledbetter of Essex, Mo., a district representative with Modern Woodmen of America, was agent of the month in the Missouri East Agency for the month of March. Ledbetter joined Modern Woodmen's Rainwater Agency in Farmington, Mo., in 1991.

Hendrickson Business Advisors adds consultant

Janet Livingston has joined Hendrickson Business Advisors, 1729 William St. in Cape Girardeau, as a consultant. Livingston spent the past 17 years at SRC Holdings Corp. in Springfield, Mo. During her time there, Livingston worked with businesses worldwide to improve profitability and employee relations using the principles of open-book management and creating organizations with business-savvy people. Livingston has recently relocated to the Cape Girardeau area with her husband, Rex, and their two children.
