Tim Reinbott of Bertrand, Mo., has been named superintendent of the University of Missouri Bradford Farms at Columbia, Mo.

He has worked for 15 years as a research associate under the direction of Dale Blevins in both the lab and the field conducting research.

The farm, also known as the Agronomy Research Center, is one of the farms of the MU Agricultural Experiment Station and serves as a laboratory for MU and USDA researchers.

Reinbott, who was raised on a grain-and-livestock farm in Mississippi County, actually began his duties in mid-January as interim superintendent but was recently named to the full-time position.

His new position will allow him to be a part of many research projects. He said his main job is to make sure 28 project leaders are happy. His duties include making sure equipment is available and the conditions are favorable.

He received his bachelor's and master's degrees in agronomy from the University of Missouri.
