'Ring of Fire' plays Feb. 13
The River Campus' Bedell Performance Hall will host the touring musical "Ring of Fire: The Music of the Man in Black" at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 13. The musical uses 38 of Johnny Cash's songs to tell the country legend's story, shirking the standard narrative style found in most stage productions and instead relying entirely on the music. For tickets, call the River Campus Box Office at 651-2265.
Steve Ewing, frontman of the now-disbanded St. Louis rock act The Urge, will play two dates in the area in February and March. Ewing will appear Feb. 8 with local act The Level at Club Moxy. He'll also perform March 29 at Schock's Pub in Scott City on March 29. For more on Ewing, go to www.steviee.com.
