Scott County celebrated the centennial of the Scott County Courthouse in Benton Saturday, June 16. The building, the sixth courthouse for Scott County, was designed by Henry H. Hohenschild in 1912 and dedicated on April 20, 1914. The courthouse was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in January 2004.
