Materials

• Peeps
• Coconut oil
• Powdered sugar

Instructions

• STEP 1: Place three Peeps and one tablespoon of coconut oil in a bowl and microwave the ingredients for 10 seconds.
• STEP 2: Remove the ingredients from the microwave, add three tablespoons of powdered sugar and mix.
• STEP 3: Add another tablespoon of powdered sugar, remove from bowl, mix with your hands and observe.

Explanation

Adding heat and mixing the ingredients together causes an observable change to the Peeps. Peep dough has mass and takes up space, which makes it matter. Matter can exist as a solid, liquid or gas. Peep dough is considered a solid.
