  • Fourteen local students will compete in a BEST robotics competition Saturday at St. Louis University. They have named their team Ironman Robots: Operation Dark Flight. They had six weeks to design, build and program a robot. Members are Umar Brimah and Stassi Todd of Cape Girardeau; Seth Riehn of Jackson; Arielle Bohnert of Altenburg, Mo.; Nathan Williams of Gordonville; Meghan Fox of Oran, Mo.; Kevin Phelps of Scott City; Ashley Muench, Mandy Muench and Clayton Weems of Farmington, Mo.; Nicole McKenzie of St. Genevieve; Seth Hovis of Hiram, Mo.; Josef Meyer of Bloomfield, Mo.; and Isaac Nesbit of Collinsville, Ill.
