The 5th annual Missionfest was held at the Osage Center in Cape Girardeau on November 6, 2016, featuring local mission efforts and charity organizations. Missionfest's goal is to provide a venue for sharing ideas and building cooperative efforts between congregations and local organizations. The event hosted a faith-based international marketplace to purchase handmade jewelry and apparel. By the end of Missionfest, local volunteers packaged approximately 75,000 meals to send to those in need.
