Southeast Missouri State University art professor, Chris Wubbena, supervised the installation of his 14-foot tall sculpture, "Commence" on Monday morning, July 24, 2017, in Cape Girardeau's Fountain Street roundabout. Parks and recreation employees installed the sculpture. The students that helped construct the sculpture were also on hand to help put the finishing touches on it.
